What the Mechanics answers
The Mechanics pillar tracks the motion layer: who crossed the line, where capital went today, which inventories drew down, which prices broke a level—claims anchored in dated, observable flow.
It is not the same as The Map (durable rules and structure) or The Machine (intrinsic health of the entity). Long-run strategy lives elsewhere; here we care about what the story says is moving now.
