In response to a critical humanitarian landscape, global agencies are launching a coordinated diplomatic and aid initiative to tackle the urgent needs of refugees in Chad and Lebanon. The World Food Programme and UNHCR will expand operations to establish cross-border resource corridors and targeted support for food security and shelter. With over 900,000 Sudanese refugees currently in Chad and rising food prices in Lebanon exacerbating hunger, the situation remains dire and necessitates immediate action to avert further displacement.
